i love you.

seems easy to say? the easiest combination of 3 words that most people use whenever they are in a relationship, no matter how young or old. whether you like it or not, when the feeling is gone, these words are gone.

i used to be able to say that with ease, but now, it's a completely different thing. such simple 8 letters, however, comprise of the greatest meaning of all. i've always wondered, does everyone know the meaning of love to say that? at our age, i suppose most do not. it's the same as why people dont say i love you to their parents when they grow up, its just not easy to do so although you know deep in your heart you truly love them.

the same goes for relationships. if someone easily tells you he/she loves you when you just get into a relationship, there's bound to be really some doubts about it. for saying that phrase takes a whole load of promises and commitment with it. its not the 'ok today i feel happy so i'll tell you i love you to make you happy' kind of thing here. you never really know if the other party is building up his/her world around you because of this really simple phrase.

so say it only when you are willingly ready to share your person's burden and to only to the ones who truly deserve it.
