there was a fire drill at springleaf tower at 10 am this morning and evacuation to another building across MAS. the flight of stairs down was horrible. ha. one storey felt like 4 storeys! omg. and the colour of the steps and railings are exactly the same that i felt giddy when i was at the 10th storey. lucky i am situated on the 15th floor so it wasnt that bad compared to others.
but the weather was so hot and lucky i had the signage to fan myself. the picture is interesting right. BHP Billiton is the only company globally that is so into SAFETY issues and only trained safety wardens can be allowed to wear the orange cap and lead all employees to the assembly area. anyway i am trained in it too so the picture is taken for memory sake! i would like to "steal" one of those orange caps home for keepsake cos it has the beijing 2008 logo on it. nvm, shall just request for one of the 2008 olympics goodie bag cos BHPB is an official sponsor of the games!
it was really fun and good experience! haha. though last time in jc, we would dread having fire drills and would seek all ways to sneak out of school to avoid such events.
oh yea, both carol and i will be attending the Global Youth Symposium organised by Universiti of Malaya this coming august! i hope it will be fun and i will get to learn more things. plus more importantly, networking. hah. ok my main purpose is actually to get a feel on how it is like to study in malaysia cos i've been receiving my education in Singapore since young. haha. and hopefully i will have some changed opinions on my country. lol. but i doubt i will be able to form any, since i am almost determined to take up spore citizenship when i turn 21. IF i ever go back to malaysia, that will be the day when i become the FIRST CHINESE FEMALE in the cabinet!

and now comes the brain draining part. how am i supposed to pay 150USD to UM in a week!? i want to pay in Ringgit!! =(
