service 58.

i took the bus from bishan interchange today since i didnt have the patience to wait for 59. it has been a long while since i took the bus. usually, i will fall asleep on the journey home, but today, i decided to look out of the window.

some things remain unchanged. bishan park looks prettier and more well groomed than 5 years ago. i saw more residents using the recreational facilities at the park. more little kids playing, injecting life to the park. the stretch from lorong chuan to NYJC is always heavily packed with vehicles during peak hours as usual. the shophouses remained as quiet as ever in the lorong lew lian estate.

but, some things have changed. there are more people walking in and out of serangoon mrt station now. near cherry hill, there's also a sheltered walkway from the bus stop to the opposite side now. the circle line for Tai Seng is almost 40% complete. the flyover to upper paya lebar road has been completed. so much. but all these are predictable changes with growing needs.

unpredictable are those of relations. just like a flower. it's injected with a new life, grows and blossoms, shrivels and finally, it dies. though short lived, the most has been achieved during its prettiest moment. it reminds me of myself and people around me. for most, they come and go. some is like that of a flower, at least we have spent some great times and shared wonderful memories together. a few, the flower is always in its prettiest moment, though it may be tainted with a few flaws occasionally, at least, i know it will stay without dying off.

thanks to the few who light up my life without fail. :) and to the one who is my ever blossoming flower, ever accommodating and forgiving. :)
